Update
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not forgotten about the giveaway. I’ve been tired, busy, sick and out of town. I checked the downloads Sunday night (it was really around 3:30AM) and we were only 4 downloads away from the 3,000 mark. That’s close enough. The title of this post is a quote from Love Is A Mixtape by Rob Sheffield and as I read that book, as my eyes passed over that sentence, I had to pause. I thought back to my first mixtape, all the mixtapes I’ve made since then, and I thought about all the mixtapes I will ever make. Rarely do I ever just make a mixtape just for the hell of it; there is always a reason, a purpose behind them.
