Winter Mixtape
For me, Winter doesn’t really start until January. December is a blur, filled with shopping and seasonal depression. January hits, I begin to slow down and take in the surroundings, the snow falls with more enthusiasm and I curse the sky. The hills and fields are white snow covered canvases and I just pray that I will wake up in the morning to the rich green of spring. I know that my hoping and praying will get me nowhere, I will wake up with a fresh blanket of snow covering the ground. January is too early to wish for Spring, it is too far away still.
This is my Winter mix, something I put together earlier today.
